Here, at Pure Bliss Candles, we use only quality ingredients.  For the wax we use palm wax, soy wax and a superior paraffin wax blend.  It is this paraffin blend, which is responsible for our candles smelling so strong.  We use the best essential oils from around the world.  The dye used for coloring the candles is made from eco-friendly ingredients.  Finally, the candles are wicked with hemp core cotton wicks, so no icky, carbon or black residue exists.  Hemp is a strong, natural fiber, which makes for rigid wicks that will stand up and burn fantastically.  

PARAFFIN vs SOY

The National Candle Association, which is the governing authority for United States Candle Manufacturers, did a study to find the best and cleanest burning wax.  The study on candle emissions confirmed that, well made candles of all major wax types exhibit the same clean burning behavior, and pose no discernible risks to human health or indoor air quality.  

With the results of this study, we find that "Soy" candles don't burn any cleaner than other types of candles.  As a matter of fact, the campaign, "Soy Candles are Better"....is just that - an advertising campaign.
